Lindero Country Club - Golf Academy
This program has been created for the serious junior golfer who has acquired the fundamental skills of the game. Kids between the ages of 8 and 16 will be under the instruction of Professional, Matthew Lane. Matt has been a great asset to Lindero Country Club's teaching program since coming on board this year.
The Golf Academy runs the same hours as regular camp and shares lunch facilities. The clinic sizes are smaller, instructors are more experienced, and course play is more extensive. Students will receive in-depth golf instruction in the morning Monday thru Thursday, take lunch, then resume play or practice on the golf course in the afternoon. Each Friday Academy Students will participate in golf tournaments with awards.
In the event your child is looking for a higher level of golf camp, own their own equipment and has established the basic skills of the game, the golf academy is perfect to fit their needs.
The regular Lindero golf camp does provide instruction, however, skill levels vary and the lessons are not as intense or complex. Regular campers seeking an overall fun experience that includes golf, golf instruction, and other activities, should attend the regular golf camp. We have just completed our 15th successful year. Regular golf campers age 8 and above do play on the course at least once a week as well as use all the other practice areas of the club.
